Floor orientations are complimentary 20-minute sessions with a BearFit trainer aimed at beginners who want to familiarize themselves with the strength and cardio equipment in the Sumers Recreation Center. Participants will be introduced and instructed on how to use each type of cardio machine as well as how to safely and effectively utilize the free weight, selectorized, and plate-loaded strength training equipment. All participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, observe demonstrations or try the pieces out themselves during this orientation.
The schedule for floor orientations is listed below. All orientations operate on a drop-in basis and meet in the Burmeister Lounge on Level 3 of Sumers.
